MEETINGS

The Southport Lions Club meets every 1^st and 3^rd Thursday for a luncheon meeting. It begins at 11:45 a.m. at Brunswick County Resource Center, 1513 N. Howe St., Southport, NC.  All visitors are welcome to come see the club in action.  The business meeting starts promptly at noon and is followed by a guest speaker presentation. The meeting ends promptly at 1 pm.

Two of our meeting days are reserved for an annual Officers Installation Ceremony and a Christmas Dinner meeting.  Various social events are also scheduled throughout the year.

OUR GUEST SPEAKER PROGRAM

Are you a speaker for a local charitable organization? We try to have a guest speaker at every luncheon meeting.  These speakers usually have a 20 minute presentation followed by a short Q&A time.  This truly is a valuable part of our overall program. The topics range from local government, golf, trains, to the proposed International Port. However, most of our speakers are from local charitable organizations just like yours speaking about what their organization does for our Community.  If you are such a speaker and would like to speak to our club, please contact us via email (using the email icon below).  Being a guest speaker can be an excellent way to promote your charitable organization, while seeking financial or other support from our club and its members.  Guest speakers dine at no cost.   Once we hear from you we will contact you to schedule a date and time!
