LIONS CLUB BROOMS

To help the visually impaired directly while also raising funds to help our local charities, we buy four types of brooms from Industries of the Blind http://www.industriesoftheblind.com in Greensboro, NC.  We then sell them at our various fund-raising projects and keep a supply in the Southport Visitor Center for year-round sales.  we do a brisk business with these brooms which are frequently sought after by many as they are said to be of higher quality than any that can be found commercially.  Plus, the money spent goes to an excellent cause.
